How To Apply For Finance Through Gorilla Finance

We’ve all been in the situation where we’ve added all our dream tools to the online cart, imagining exactly what projects they will be used for and where they will be stored in our workstations. We head to the checkout daydreaming about how we’ll feel when the order arrives but then the eye watering total amount brings us back to reality with a painful thud.

That’s why we’ve partnered up with V12 Finance to bring you Gorilla Finance. Our payment plans allow you to purchase your products today and pay over 6 or 9 months with 0% interest. This guide will show you how to create your order and complete the finance application using  Gorilla Finance.

Step One: Pick Your Products

First, you must choose the products that you are looking to purchase and add them to your cart. You must remember that your order has to be over £250 for you to be eligible to apply for finance. For the purpose of this guide I shall add a popular Retro Rollcab to my cart to demonstrate the process of applying for finance.

When you have finished browsing and have all your desired products in your basket you can click ‘proceed to checkout,’ where you can see a full list of products in your shopping cart.

Step Two: Proceed To Checkout

Once you’re at the checkout phase of your online shopping journey you will be required to fill in some personal details about yourself. For those of you who have shopped with us before and created an account you will be asked to log in here.

If you are a new customer with Grease Gorilla you have the option to checkout as a guest or to create an account. If you create an account your details will be securely saved in our system to save you inputting the same details again when you return to make future purchases.

Next, fill out all necessary details in the shipping section and click ‘bill to this address.’ When applying for finance the billing address and shipping address must match. We are legally obliged to only ship goods to the billing address.

Once you have reached the payment section of the checkout phase you will be given a variety of payment options. Here, you will select the ‘Interest Free Finance’ option and agree to the terms and conditions before hitting ‘Place Order.’

Step Three: Apply For Finance

After you have placed the order you will be redirected to the V12 Finance website where you can fill out your application. If you choose the 6 or 9 month payment plan option you will be eligible for interest free finance. However, you can also apply to pay off the balance over 12, 24 or 36 months. There is an interest bearing rate of 9.9% on these three options, which is important for you to consider prior to completing your application. In my example I have chosen to go for the interest free option paying the total order off over a 9 month period making my monthly repayments £75.92 per month.

It’s also important to have your bank details to hand at this stage as the application will ask for an account number and sort code as well as some questions regarding your employment and residential status.

Once you have filled in all the relevant details you can click ‘Apply For Finance’ and V12 will process the application and make the decision whether or not your application has been successful. V12 will then issue out the finance accordingly.

Presuming you have been successful Grease Gorilla will then process the order and send it out to you. It’s as easy as that! Now you can sit back and start planning what you will use all your brand new tools and equipment while you wait for the order to arrive!
